Terms for using Be Free Studios

These terms cover your use of this website. Sending an inquiry through the form is a request, not an order: it doesn’t commit you to hiring us, or us to taking on your project. If we both want to go ahead, we’ll agree the details in writing before any work starts: what we’ll make, what it costs, when it’s due, and how changes are handled. That written agreement is what governs the project.

The words, images, logos and designs on this site belong to Be Free Studios or are used with permission. You’re welcome to share a link, or to quote a short piece with credit and a link back. Please don’t copy, republish or use our work, or our name and logo, for something else without asking first. If we make something for you, who owns it and how you can use it is set out in the written agreement for that project.

Our Etsy shop and eBay store, and any other site we link to, are run by those companies. When you buy there, their terms and policies apply to your purchase, along with whatever we say in the listing. We don’t control other sites and aren’t responsible for what’s on them.

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, without a promise that it will always be error-free or up. To the fullest extent the law allows, Be Free Studios isn’t liable for losses that come from using the site or relying on what’s on it. Nothing here limits a right you have by law, or what a written project agreement says.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
