Privacy at Be Free Studios

The form asks for your name, your email address, the kind of project, your budget range and timeline, and, if you choose to, a few lines about the project. We use it to reply to you and to scope the work, and for nothing else.

When you press send, a copy of your message is emailed to us and another is saved in a private store that only we can open. We keep it for 12 months, then delete it. If you’d like it gone sooner, email connect@befree.studio and we’ll delete both copies.

Before the form is accepted, a Cloudflare Turnstile check confirms you’re a person; we don’t send your IP address to it.

When you first visit, a bar asks whether you’ll allow analytics. Your answer is saved in a small cookie called cookie_consent on your own device for a year.

If you choose Accept, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets two cookies (_ga and _ga_ plus an ID), each lasting two years. It records the pages you view and two actions: pressing an Inquire button, and sending an inquiry. It never sees what you typed in the form.

If you choose Reject, or don’t answer, Google Analytics doesn’t load and nothing is sent to it. You can change your mind by using Cookie settings in the footer.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics for simple, anonymous page counts. It sets no cookies. It identifies a visit by a hash of the request that it discards after 24 hours, and it records the page, the referring site, your rough location, and your browser and device type. It doesn’t record who you are.

To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email connect@befree.studio. Because the inquiry form is the only place we collect personal details, deleting your inquiry removes everything we have about you, apart from anything you’ve sent us by email, which we’ll delete on request too.
